Strep. Again.

Turns out she has strep. Poor kid. She just had it 6 weeks ago. What's worse is that she came home Friday evening with a fever and sore throat, suffered all weekend, then when I called the doctor's office on Monday they said to wait until today because it was probably a virus. So here it is Wednesday and they had me bring her in. Thank goodness for rapid strep tests so we know for sure she needs the amoxicillin, but I feel terrible that she was sick for so long when we could've been helping her. From now on, I am taking her in for a rapid strep test whenever she has a sore throat with a fever for more than a day. I'd rather pay the co-pay and know than have her miserable for almost a week.....and her birthday week, at that.
