She turns seven!

Anna turned 7 yesterday. Unfortunately, she has one of her fevers that she seems to be getting so frequently lately. It worries me a bit. It seems she gets a 102-103 degree fever about every 6-8 weeks. Not sure if it's just chance, or what could be going on. Today it spiked up to 104 for a while until the Motrin kicked in. She was a pretty unhappy camper there for a while, and I don't blame her. It feels SO awful to be feverish. She hasn't been able to play with her birthday gifts much at all. My dad and stepmom got her a used bike that I think is a bit too big, and between that and not feeling well, she hasn't been too willing to try to ride it. John and I got her a badminton/volleyball set which I know she'll love when she's well, but for right now, she just doesn't feel good enough to even try it.

I'm glad we didn't have a big party planned, but she's bored and lonely after being by herself all weekend while listening to the neighborhood kids playing outside without her. Hopefully she'll feel better in the next couple of days and we can go get pizza at Chuck E. Cheese. I love pizza from there, so any excuse to go is fine with me. :)
